Gato: Spanish word for cat.

Brothers Javi and Rod Godínez spent four years touring with an established regional/national band. They shared the stage with various big name artists such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Eminem, The Strokes, N.E.R.D., Jane’s Addiction and many more. After parting ways with the band, Javi and Rod decided to put together a new band that was more in touch with their Latin American roots.

Joined by Tom Dolan and Scott Rabino STONE GATO blends rhythms from Latin America and Africa with elements of rock and funk to create infectious beats and tender melodies. STONE GATO’s down-to-Earth lyrics are the final ingredient to this unique recipe they call music. Whether singing in English or Spanish, STONE GATO’s masterful musicianship, energy, and charisma on stage set audiences on fire. STONE GATO is gearing up to take over the United States with their sound, thus changing the face of the music world.
